Reviews of the offices of the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, and Australian Securities and Investments Commission
The applicant sought all documentation relating to the Tribunal's reviews of the offices of the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, that were conducted in 2005 (with findings published in 2006) and again in 2011. The information required included, but was not limited to:
(1) The reviews conducted by the Tribunal and any parties commissioned by the Tribunal that include consideration of the current circumstances of each of the named agencies and background to remuneration arrangements.
(2) Any submissions made by the agencies or any other parties.
(3) Meeting notes or other documents relating to any interviews conducted with officeholders, Ministers or any other relevant parties.
(4) Any documentation for each review that pertained to compensation for loss of office.

The applicant was provided with 29 documents released in full and 23 documents that were part redacted. The redactions primarily related to what the decision maker decided would be the unreasonable release of personal information, or sections of documents containing material outside the scope of the FOI request.
